“Nope you’re not going anywhere.” Alec grabbed Bennet’s wrist, having pretty much an ironclad grip on him. “I thought I saw you out here but I wasn’t sure.” He grumbled mostly to himself.

"Excuse me, I'd appreciate if you'd let me be. I'd really like to get home right now, I got lost on a walk." Benet said tugging at his arm trying to get loose, "Please?" He wasn't liking this one bit, but he was seriously hoping that this guy would just let him go after a few minutes, in fact he sort of believed it.

“Yeah no I don’t believe that for a second. You followed Connor here.” He started pulling Bennet through the crowd and into the building their whole group had gone into before. “Since you’re his roommate, you’re his problem to deal with.” He kinda grinned back at him. “Don’t worry I’m not going to do anything to you, I’m just taking you to Connor.” His tone suggested that if they were in other circumstances, things would be much much different.

Bennet shuddered and wrenched his arm out of Alec's, "I don't care if you don't beIieve it, I said I got lost on a walk, and I wouldn't lie about that, my sense of direction is terrible. Why in the world would I follow him here? None of this is my business, so if you don't mind, I'm heading home. And, please this time let me be." He began to move away from him quickly, trying to get out and back home as soon as possible, and hopefullynot let this guy get him again, he figured that it would be worse the next time he was caught.

Alec let him go, a grin on his face. “Well…this is certainly going to be interesting.” He made his way back into the club, quickly finding Connor and making his way over there. “Dude I think your roommate followed you here.”
“Really?”
“Yeah he was kinda just lurking outside.”
Connor sighed. “Shit…guess I should go after him then.” He was about to leave when a thought occurred to him. “You didn’t do anything to him..did you Alec?”
“Me? Of course not mon ami”
Connor rolled his eyes. “I’ll see you guys later.” He walked back outside, starting to look for Bennet.

Bennet was walking down the street calmly, trying to make himself look as lost as possible. He pulled out his phone and pulled up the GPS trying to make it seem more believable, "Okay, so I'm here, and I think I need to be here to get back home." He sighed a little bit, "Why couldn't I just stayed home?" He had a good mind to go back there and give that man a piece of his mind, but that guy intimidated him, and Bennet didn't want anything happening to him, he just wanted to get his mission over and done with.

Connor had been moving pretty quickly through the streets, and he’d finally spotted Bennet. He sped up more to catch up to him. “Bennet!” He called out, making sure it was actually him.

Bennet turned around slowly, sort of scared as to who it was, "Oh god Connor, it's you, I went out walking, cause I was bored, then got lost, then this guy hit on me, and then another guy scared him off, then the new guy grabbed me and started talking about how I followed you here, which I didn't because I got lost, and when I found a lot of people I thought I'd be safe, but I guess not, and. . .and. . ." He stopped to take a deep breath, "Why the heck would that guy think I'd follow you?"

“Um because It’s kinda hard to get here by yourself? Also I think he just doesn’t like you. Then again, Alec doesn’t really like anyone.” He put an arm around Bennet’s shoulder. “Come on let’s get you back home.”

Bennet pulled away from Connor, "No, it's fine, you go back there, and I'll find my way back home, I don't think anyone else will bother me. Plus, I have mace." He turned on his phone's flashlight and began to walk away, "I see you tomorrow? Okay?"

He sighed. “Bennet I’m not just gonna let you walk back by yourself it’s not safe, even if you do have mace. Just let me walk you back okay?”

"I said no." He murmured, "I am completely capable of taking care of myself." Bennet crossed his arms, sort of glaring at Connor. "So, I do believe that I should be fine."

“Okay, okay!” He backed away. “I’ll leave you alone. Just be careful.” And with that he walked away, leaving Bennet on the street.

"Good." Bennet mumbled as he walked down the street, he really just needed some time to himself to reflect. Mainly to reflect on how much of an idiot he had been for following the guy. Thankfully, Connor had seemed to believe him, but now Bennet knew who he had to stay away from. That guy Alec seemed to know something about him, he wasn't sure if Alec recognized him or something, but if he did, that would make life so much harder for Bennet, and for this mission.

Connor made his way back to the club, and found his friends rather easily, but he wasn’t really feeling excited about it anymore. Something felt off. But he couldn’t put his finger on it.

Bennet suprisingly made it back to the apartment safely. Once he locked the door behind him and made sure the windows were shut, he opened up his wings and flapped them a few times, just to wake them up a bit. It had been days since he had last let them show, and they were hurting like heck. he figured just letting unfurl for a bit would be good for them. After washing up, Bennet headed into his room and left the door ajar, then, he tried to get to sleep, he was exhausted and glad to be home, but he just felt nervous, there was something about that Alec guy that scared him, but he could figure that out tomorrow, or today. Glancing at the clock, he realized, yep it was a new day, and he needed to get to sleep. He leaned back against his pillows making sure to not crush his wings, then fell fast asleep.

Connor got back to the apartment a few hours later, wanting nothing more than to collapse in bed. But first he had to check on Bennet, he was a little bit worried about the guy. “Bennet?” He called out softly, not loud enough to wake Bennet up. Seeing the door open, he poked his head inside Bennet’s room. He felt relieved whenever he saw that Bennet was there. He stayed a second longer, thankfully Bennet seemed okay too. And then Connor noticed the wings, he tensed up. “What the hell..” he whispered, backing away.
