“Well if you want to, I’m not going to stop you. Could you just not go back to sleep now?” He asked, looking over at the other curiously. “Or did you not want to sleep right now?” He was asking for no reason except he was somewhat curious.
"I'd rather spend some time with you, and with enough coffee, I'll be able to push through the day, you know." He spooned up some dry creal, then dipped it into the bowl of milk, before eating it, "Plus I like being with you."
He felt his lips curl into a smile. “Well that’s awfully sweet of you. I don’t think I really have that much work to do today either. So we can just relax, do whatever.” He said happily.
"And then, I'll come up with something to do, maybe just watch some shows and chill?" He smiled as if he was thinking of more to do, "I think we'll have fun."
“Yeah we’ll definitely have fun.” He was also thinking through things they could do. He knew that whatever they ended up doing, it would be worth it because he’d be doing it with Bennet. He really did like him.
"We always have fun, I think, except for the time you nearly yelled at me when you saw me eating cereal like this. That wasn't fun." He said with a sigh, "But other than that, we've had a lot fun together." He chuckled a little bit, hoping that Connor knew that he was teasing, "So, shall we start, I'm not that hungry to begin with. Wati, no, I need to get dressed,." He put his things in the sink then headed to his room, "Give me a half hour, then I'll be ready!!" He called as he rushed towards the bathroom.
He couldn’t help but laugh a bit as Bennet scampered off. “Okay I’ll be in my room.” He called back as he stood up. He also still looked like a little bit of a mess, not having even gotten closed to getting dressed yet. It took him maybe 10 or 15 minutes to get ready, though he was still trying to fix his hair.
After another twenty-ish minutes Bennet finally came out of the bathroom, "Okay!! I'm dressed." He called out as he threw the rest of his things back on his bed. He popped his head into Connor's room without knocking, "Wow, you look nice." He said with a slight, playful, gasp, "Really good actually."
“Oh shush, I literally just got dressed.” He said but felt himself blush nonetheless. He grinned over at him. “You don’t look so bad yourself” he said teasingly.
Bennet rolled his eyes and stepped into the bedroom, "Wow, your room is so neat, so much neater than mine is, at least. I mean, when you don't have a giant tarp over everything, it looks really nice." He said with a chuckle. He wrapped his arms around Connor's waist, then looked up at him, "Soooo, whatcha wanna do today?"
“Why thank you, I do my best to keep a pretty aesthetic room.” He looked down at Bennet. “Hm nothing that I can think of off the top of my head.”
"Come on, there's gotta be something." He said with a little pout, "Anything, it's your pick." He grinned up at him before pulling away a little bit, "I mean, you're the fun one who normally has some ideas, other than drinking, please no drinking, my head still hurts from that." He said shaking his head, "It was nice, but ugggh, I still feel kinda sick from that."
“Well since I always choose what we do, can you choose this time? I’m fresh out of good ideas, sadly.” He poured softly.
Bennet grumbled a little bit under his breath, "I don't knowwwwww, how about we just watch some random show on TV? Or why don't you invite one of your less scary friends over, one of the ones that might not kill me on the spot?" He said with a hopeful smile, "Or do you want it to be just us?"
“I don’t really have any ‘less scary friends’ and even if I did…I kind of want it to just be us two.” He smiled over at Bennet.
"Oh okay then." Bennet gently pecked him on the lips and headed out of the room, "Since I came up with this, you pick a show then, unless you want to watch more GOlden Girls." He said with a chuckle as he made his way to the kitchen. His phone buzzed in his back pocket and he sighed, Well, at least it isn't Ashton this time. He poured himself a glass of water then made his way to the couch, flopping down on it.
Connor smiled softly, walking into the living room and sitting down on the couch. “Hmm we could always watch competitive cooking shows.” He suggested. “Those are always pretty interesting.”
"That sounds alright." He said pushing himself to sit up, "No, actually, that sounds like a lot of fun." He said with a chuckle, grabbing a nearby throw pillow, "I know we just woke up, but do you want a snack?" He said with a smile, "I could maybe make something for us. Or we could just chill." He was trying so hard to make everything perfect, but sort of looking like an idiot.
“Hey, just relax. The fact that you’re trying to make everything so perfect is adorable but you don’t need to stress out this much about it. Just come here.” He gently grabbed Bennet’s wrist, pulling him close. “Don’t worry, I don’t bite.” He teased softly.
Bennet blushed and looked away from him, "HHm, I don't mind." He said with light chuckle and wink up at Connor. He stayed quiet as Connor found one of the shows. He leaned his head on his chest and sighed, This is really nice.
Connor chuckled softly as well before picking up the remote and flipping through the channels until he found a good cooking show. “There we are…now we just relax.” He wrapped his arms around Bennet, kissing his forehead.
Bennet nodded a little bit, "Okay, that sounds good." He said then turned his attention onto the TV, "Woooooowww, that looks yummy." He murmured, mesmerized by the food, "Now I'm hungry." He fell quiet again, watching the show and focusing on the food.
“It does look good, doesn’t it? I can go get you something to eat if you want.” He offered, gently running his fingers through Bennet’s hair.
"Noooo, it's okay." He said with a shiver, "I don't want you to go, soooooo, not yettt." He said looking up at Connor. He smiled at him, and shivered again a little, "Wait, wait." He said looking at the TV, the competition was getting a little tougher and he was getting more interested in it.
“Who do you think is gonna win? My money’s on that guy.” He said, pointing at a guy on the screen. “I also just like his vibe so yeah.”
