"Fine, ten more minutes." He said with a sigh, "You know me way too well." He said scooting closer to the man a little bit, "Maybe we can do the laundry tomorrow? Or like later today, like later later?" He said with a yawn, "I mean, I don't mind."
“We’ll do something today so you won’t have to pout later about being unproductive.” He said, wrapping his arms around Bennet and pulling him close.
"Okay." He said with a happy smile. He yawned softly his wings flapping a little bit, "Connor, I have a question, I hope you won't get mad at me for asking about it though."
“Hmm okaaaaaay. Go ahead and ask I guess. I don’t think there’s anything you could ask that I’d get mad about but-“ he shrugged. “Anyway, go ahead.”
"So uhm, you know how for a while your friends and my bosses have practically ignored our existence, but uhm. I'm just sort of scared of what they could be planning or what could be happening. I know that you've told me a ton of times that we're safe and stuff, that they don't care about us, but uhm, I'm still sort of scared of something happening and us being separated. I mean, Alec wouldn't care that I'm an angel right? So I might end up having to go to hell with you, right?"
He sighed slowly, frowning softly. “Yeah I guess that might end up happening….Alec wouldn’t mind so that’s good at least…”
"I mean, would I be safe there though? I mean at least here we're safe from hell and heaven, but also I'm still kind of scared about it. But that's not important, I was just being stupid." He said with a yawn, hugging Connor tightly, "But that's okay baby, as long as I'm with you, I'm fine."
“You weren’t being stupid, that’s a perfectly reasonable thing to be worried about.” He said, running a hand through Bennet’s hair. “We’d be safe as long as we stayed with Alec.”
"Okay then, I mean, I hope so." He said yawning again, "Also, can we do this more often? Just cuddle like this?" He loved spending time with the other man. But he was hoping that he wasn't getting too annoying to the other man. He could be a little clingy at times.
He nodded, “of course we can! I love snuggling with you, you’re so cozy..” he smiled again, kissing Bennet’s cheek a few times, laughing softly. He loved being able to shower Bennet with affection.
'Mhmm." He rolled his eyes a little bit, looking over shoulder out of the window. "It's snowing!!!!!" He cheered excitedly, scrambling to get out of the other man's arms. He pulled on his slippers and rushed over to the window, pressing his nose against the glass, "It's so prettyyyy."
He laughed as he watched Bennet scramble out of bed. He got out of bed a few moments later, walking over to look out the window as well. “It really is pretty.” Connor said, smiling over at him. “Do you want to go outside now?”
"Please?" He had already gone over to his closet grabbing out some of warmer clothes out. "I'm gonna make a snowman, and a snow angel and a snow demon, and…" He had begun listing a lot of random things that he could make out of the snow, "And the snow demon and angel are gonna have snow kids with a snow cat, what do you think Connor?"
He chuckled at Bennet’s ramblings. He liked when Bennet got this excited about something. He was just so…adorable. “Sounds perfect. Let me just go grab my coat and we’ll both go, okay?”
"MMkay!" He had already pulled on about two layers of clothes at that point, and was trying to find a scarf. The boy got cold really easily, even though he loved it, so he was going through his closet looking for a heavier sweater. I hope I'm not overdoing this.
Connor left the room, going to his own to find all the clothes he’d need for the outside. He would need a few layers worth of jackets to keep him warm.
One Bennet deemed that he was ready to go - he looked like a giant marshmallow- he walked out of his bedroom and into the living room flopping on the couch, "Connor? Are we ready to go yet? I don't the snow to melt before we go outtttt!" He called.
“I’m coming!” He announced before coming out of his room, barely holding in a laugh at how many layers Bennet had on. Sure, he wasn’t too much better but still.
"What's so funny?" He said with a bit of a whine looking up at the man, "I'm just all bundled up." He said with a little pout, crossing his arms.
“Sorry. You just-“ he had to hold in another laugh. “You look like a big snowball.” He said, smiling. “But a very cute snowball”
Bennet grumbled a little bit, as he started to take off one of his overcoats, "Uh huh, sure." He grumbled walking towards the door, then he caught himself in the mirror, "Crap you're right…" He pulled off a couple more layers off until he felt that he looked a lot more like himself, "Okay, now can we go?"
“Mhm.” He said, taking Bennet’s hand in his own as he opened the door. “Make sure to be careful on the stairs, I don’t want you to break anything.” He said gently.
"I'll be careful," Bennet said with a sigh, playfully rolling his eyes. once they got to the last level though he pulled his hand away from Connor's and ran towards the snow as though he was an overexcited toddler, "Come on, babe!!!!" He said as he let himself fall backwards into the snow.
He laughed. “I’m coming! I’m coming!” He said, following him out into the snow, definitely not as excited about it as Bennet but happy nonetheless. He stood over Bennet, chuckling softly. “Having fun?”
"Uh huh!" He said squinting to look up at the other man, "Join me!!!!!" He was definitely having the time of his life at the moment.
