'I'll take good care of her, okay?' He said with a smiley face, before turning off his phone and relaxing again. He could hear his roommate bustling around the apartment, and sighed softly, trying to fall asleep.

Vic continued banging on the door, the look on his face lethal. He couldn't believe this, number one, how could Nico and Brenn hook up or whatever, and they wouldn't even admit it to him, and that they hooked up to begin with. He had always shipped the two boys, but it was just a joke, he didn't really see them getting to gether, they just hated each other that much, so he figured that it would just be something funny, not that they would take it seriously. "NICOOOOOO LET ME IN THE DAMN APARTMENT!!!!"

After a few minutes, he got tired of Vic banging in the door, and didn’t want anyone to file a noise complaint, so he got up and opened the door. “What?” He asked, having literally the most bored expression on his face

Victor rolled his eyes, pushing past the other man, "Why the hell did you and Brenn hook up, and why didn't you tell me about it?" He stormed over to the couch, ignoring Sadie jumping upon him, and sat down, "How could you? That's not right."

“Wait what? Dude I literally have no idea what you’re talking about.” He replied, a genuinely confused look on his face as he closed the door, following Vic into the apartment. So apparently their friends had jumped to that conclusion.

"Oh, I think you do know. Everyone saw the way you two were acting, and how you two left together. Was that whole, 'Oh he helped me with my car' thing fake or something? Did you two actually like.. . " He shuddered thinking about that, "Or, are the two of you just dating, but still, that's weird, you two hate each other, like how cats hate everything or something."

“Jesus I can’t believe you guys would just assume that.” He said, purposefully sounding way too defensive, his arms crossed over his chest. “I wouldn’t say I hate him…but we’re definitely not dating or anything..like that.”

"They think that you guys were just being weird, well the one's who don't want to believe that you two would even talk to each other." He said with a shrug, his yelling stopping for a second, and analyzing the man's behaviour, "You're being defensive. . .you're dating him, aren't you. I SWEAR TO GOD, NICOoOOoOOOOOoOOOOooOOoo!" He said,, a smile on his face, "WHy don't you just tell me? It'll make life easier on you."

“Vic- for the last time, WE ARE NOT DATING! Sure I’m hanging out with him a bit more but we are in absolutely, no way, romantically involved.” He said, getting way more upset than he normally would.

"It sure seems like it, I heard that he just left your apartment a half hour ago, and that you two were spotted cuddling - and when I say cuddling, I mean it, I have picture evidence- you two were really getting close there, and the fact that he came back here with you,.. . ." He shook his head, his smirk becoming more and more evident, "You two are a thing, it's obvious, you can't lie or hide things from your best friend, man, I'm not that stupid. . "

‘Well clearly you are that stupid to actually believe it.’ He thought to himself. He sighed in frustration. “Look dude, I don’t care what you think at this point. We are not together.” He said, but provided no real evidence to really prove himself.

Victor groaned, "Then give me at least a reason for me to believe you, you know" He said with a shrug, "Your words are telling me one thing, but your actions and stuff and the fact that you two were fricking cuddling in public is just making things look worse for you. So, maybe you should give me a few reasons as to why you were doing that. Maybe I should pull up the pictures?"

“Dude you know me..and you know I don’t date guys like him. Especially since he was someone I already knew! He’s not my type. And just because I hung out with the guy once that doesn’t mean I’m suddenly interested in him.”

"Guys like him . . ." Victor felt like he should argue with that, he wanted too, but he couldn't disagree, they would be a cute couple and stuff, but he could get that. What he wasn't going to let go was the fact that the two were cuddling in public, "Sooo, if you don't like him in that way, why were you two cuddling, like a couple would. That's what stumps me, and you can't deny that you two weren't, everyone saw the picture, and everyone is curious about it."

He hesitated for a second before shrugging. “It was cold, and I was bored, and he didn’t really seem to care.” He replied simply. And honestly, it sounded like something that Nico would do too.

"Fine. . ." Vic grumbled, crossing his arms slightly, he was sort of hoping for something more than that, then he remembered the looks on their faces, but knowing Nico, he was probably just flirting to mess with Brenn. "So, I nearly broke down your door, got a noise complaint, and spent an hour finding everything out for nothing?" He facepalmed, sort of annoyed with himself at the moment, "Great. . ."

“Yeah Vic that’s what you get for overreacting to literally everything.” He rolled his eyes. He’d decided that it’d be fun to keep messing with Vic and the others. If he got encounters like this every other day, well, it’d certainly make his life a lot more interesting.

"It's not that I overreact to everything, you and Brenn were just being sus today, and you both were acting like something was going between you. There was when you leaving the cafe, and just being awkward and having lame excuses, the sighting at the theater, and well. . .I guess we jus blew things out of proportion, right?" He said, looking down at the ground, sort of feeling more and embarrassed and awkward at this point, "Sorry?"

He chuckled quietly. “It’s fine dude, I’m used to you being an idiot. Just go back to your apartment and sleep it off or something. You’ll feel better about it later.”

Victor grumbled something under his breath, but did stand up and started to leave, Also, I'm not an idiot, this just wasn't one of my bright and shining moments, you know?" He said with a shrug as he exited the apartment, "See you later." he mumbled, then walked out to his apartment.

“I know you’re not an idiot, Vic. I was just messing with you.” He said, following Vic to the door, waving goodbye before closing the door. He turned around, looking over at Sadie who’d been peacefully chewing on a toy the entire time. “Sadie, papa almost got his ass whooped.” He stage whispered, laughing softly. That had been pretty nerve wracking though.
