Brenn smirked, "That's good, we could totally do that." He said with a smile, eating more of the chips, "He would like that, you know?" He said now watching the Tv a little bit, "So, what time does Vic get back.'
Brenn smirked, "That's good, we could totally do that." He said with a smile, eating more of the chips, "He would like that, you know?" He said now watching the Tv a little bit, "So, what time does Vic get back.'
Nico nodded in agreement, focusing on the tv. “Ummm…around 5 normally. So we still have a few hours.”
Brenn sighed with relief, leaning against the couch a bit, "Okay, that's good to know. I don't want either of us to get in trouble with Vic. Knowing him he'll just tell the whole group, and we'll be in a worse position than before."
“Mhm..” he mumbled in agreement. He didn’t know why the group was blowing it so out of proportion. Even if they were dating, Nico never dated people for long, so it wasn’t like this would be a forever thing.
Brenn turned his attention to the TV completely at this point, not exactly continuing th conversation, his mind was on other things,I still need to talk to Nolan about this, before he finds out and we're through. That'd be terrible, but it's just a weird subject for me to mention, and he might get mad or something.
Sadie jumped up onto the couch next to Nico, he laid down, using her side as a pillow while gently brushing his fingers through her fur. ‘This is nice…’ he thought to himself.
Nervously, he pulled outhis phone, and began to respond to texts from the other boy, and began to respond to them. He smiled slightly, trying to not crack up as the other guy responded with a goofy response, then nearly failed after another came in, and then yet another. But, he couldn't bring himself to telling him about it. Not yet, I'll get to it.
Nico noticed but of course he didn’t bother the other man about it, after all it wasn’t any of his business. He just focused on the tv, and after a few more minutes, started tapping out a rhythm on his thighs.
((Okay, I must admit, I don't know what to do, this interaction sort of went stale, at least to me. Any ideas as to how we could liven it up?))
((Hmmm idk maybe some public drama with Brenn’s boyfriend and Nico intervenes to help Brenn or something?? That’s only if we wanted to do a time skip though. We could also have Vic burst in on them or something.))
((Vic bursting in would be funny, and that could lead to Nolan finding out))
((Kill two birds with one stone I like it lol))
((Thank you! Could you start?))
((Sure!))
Things would continue to be calm like this until Nico heard Vic thundering down the hall. “Shit- he’s back early.” He shoved his hand into the couch cushions, finding the remote and turning the tv off. “Maybe now he’ll think I’m just not home…” he said quietly.
But of course, that just wasn't possible. Vic wasn't exactly a busybody, but he could tell when things were amiss, so when he saw Brenn's car pulled up in front of the building, he knew something was up. Instead of going to Nico's apartment first, he went to his washed up and everything, after all, it had been a long day of work, then he made his way over to the other man's apartment, this time actually knocking on the door gently. "Hey Nico, can I come in?"
Brenn instantly paled when he heard Victor's voice, "Damn it, I parked my car in front of the building." He mumbled into Nico's ear, and began to look around, "Should I just stay here with you or hide or something? I don't want him to you know, try to kill me or you or Sadie, I don't know?"
He sighed softly. “It’s fine, just stay here, we’ll be fine.” He mumbled back quietly, getting up and opening the door. “Hey, Vic what’s up?”
"Why is Brenn here?" He said, pushing the door open, "You told me that nothing was going between you two, but for some reason he's here, at your house, perfectly timed for when I'm out? Look, I trust you, but something is going on." He said, his voice a growl. "You can't just lie to me."
“Vic, nothing is going on right now.” He said, trying to calm the other down. “I don’t get why you’re so worked up about this..”
"Becasue, I know you. You tend to keep yolur relationships a secret, while still dropping hints here and there, and I can just tell that somethings up." He said, crossing his arms, and glaring at the other boy. "Everyone else agrees with me too, you two are definitely up to something."
He sighed dramatically, looking over at Brenn before back at Victor. “I’d like to think if I were hiding a relationship, I’d do a bit of a better job right?” He asked with a small shrug, trying to deescalate the situation a bit.
"Nico, really?" He said shaking his head, "You're the worst at it." He said rolling his eyes. "You were terrible at hiding your relationship with Jesse, and then with Adrian, and then Ethan. Must I continue?" He said with a smirk.
Brenn sighed, keeping his head down, "I think that anyone in the group would know that I'm not into guys though. I mean, I'm just not." He said with a shrug.
Nico scowled at the other, crossing his arms. But when Brenn brought up that point, Nico nodded in agreement.
Victor rolled his eyes, "Then what about that guy you've been flirting with?" He crossed his arms staring at the other boy, a smirk on his face. He could tell he had hit a nerve just by the look on the others boy's face. He and a few of the other guys had found out about this guy Brenn had been talking too for a while, but they didn't have the most proof of it. Maybe just being flat out with it would help him find the truth.
Oh crap. . . What do I even say to that. Brenn sighed, looking down at his feet, "Well, uhm, what guy? You're probably meaning the girl, uhm, amy (the most wonderful woman in the world)?" He felt so embarrassed at the moment, but what could he expect, he put himself into this situation, and he would have to get himself out.
“There you go jumping to conclusions again. You don’t know why they’re talking to each other, and honestly it’s not even our business.”
