Criminals and evil doers
Since she lived in a forest for a couple decades, she is socially inept and aloof when it comes to interacting with people.
She has some PTSD after years of dealing with her knighthood.
She's quiet and keeps to herself but genuinely cares for and respects the "rookie" knight she has to train
She's very protective of those under her care and swears to protect their life with all her power. She mostly succeeds
She's gentle and kind, but aloof and distant.
She simply wants to enforce the systems of Justice onto the people
She also wants to help the Mage and the Knight in their own quests
She wants to depower the evil in the world and slay all the Star Beasts that threaten her world
Can't talk to people to save her life
She doesn't ever take off her armor so her mobility is reduced (very durable tho)
Her views of Justice and morality have been skewed and altered from her self isolation
Said self isolation has also left the Justice System to fall into the wrong hands and now there is worldwide corruption happening everywhere. It's not a fun time when she finds out what happened
She's an excellent knight and warrior.
She has trained for decades in sword fighting and battle techniques and has earned herself a positive reputation with those familiar with her
She has minor interest in gardening
She likes to hang with animals cause they can't talk
Valiant and brave, the Great Knight is a paragon of Justice who gave her life to the Giantess of Justice to discern the heroic from the vile. However, after years upon years of endless work, she isolated herself in an uncivilized forest, only withdrawing if she can sense she is needed. She honors herself on her strength and resolve, but feels shame at her lack of social experience and genuinely wants to be more conversable with her novice ally. When the Knight and Mage found her, she immediately agreed to be there mentor and teaches them all she knows about knighthood and honor.
She has no natural affinity with magic, but she had been blessed by Justice with a few notable magical abilities:
Revelation of the Soul: She can discern truth from lie
Unveiled Sin: She can detect if someone has ill intentions
Blessings to Blood: She has enhanced strength and endurance on top of her already amazing constitution
Crystal Eye: She can remember every detail to it's most exact and intricate T
Blade Untouched by Virtue: Her sword is also blessed and cannot kill innocent people:
However, Unveiled Sin cannot detect someone who has ill intentions if they 100% believe that their intentions are in fact just and good. The person must acknowledge their actions as wrong or evil in order for the ability to activate. Revelation of the Soul is similar in that if the person says something they believe is true even if it is false, the ability will not activate. If the sky is blue, but they believe the sky is red, that is their elected truth, and limits Great Knight's abilities.
Finally, her Blade Untouched by Virtue, which is usually very fair when it comes to who is "innocent" and who is "guilty" but it is possible to expose certain fallacies in its creation and loop hole your way out of being sliced up.
She needed years upon years to learn how to properly utilize her abilities. The Giantess of Justice was her mentor for a while and taught her how to use her abilities to their fullest extent.
When GK was a child, she lived with her parents and siblings in an isolated town far from the kingdoms. But her home was burned down by the Beasts of the Burning Stars and her family was taken by the flames along with her town. As the sole survivor of this tragedy, she seeked bloodthirsty vengeance on the monsters that took her life away.
Then one day, as the carnage wreathed in flames devoured the world, a hero donned in crimson armor and a golden blade took up arms and sought to retake the world from the maw of the Burning Stars. GK heard this cry and took up a sword to fight with this Legendary Hero.
An epic description of the battle would go here, but that's not what we're talking about.
After that great and awful war, GK was appointed as the Knight of Justice by Justice herself. She gifted GK with boons and blessings that increased her proficiencies as a warrior tenfold. While every Giant Star had a prophet in their steed, GK was especially devoted to her Star and revered her greatly. GK then assembled a squad of known as The Authority of the Hounds. They enforced punishment upon the wicked and brought justice for the meek. They were known as the best in their field with no one to rival them.
Until one day...
There was a new applicant for the Authority. A meek little child who desperately wanted to help keep the peace of the word through acts of justice. GK, seeing his passion, took him up as her own squire. He was a brilliant child, a fast learner, but a poor decision maker. He would let his heart rather than logic decide his actions. GK would tell him over and over again, "your heart cannot be the compass of your mind."
Fortune shined brilliantly upon The Authority of the Hounds, because they had successfully neutralized a Burning Star. It was held down by chains and submerged in constantly filled water to keep its flames tamed. GK and her squad needed to discuss what to do now: interrogate it or kill it. GK left her squire to be the guard for the Star and reminded him of her advice.
However, no matter what GK did, the child was only a child, for when she and her squad returned, the Star was gone and her squire was guiltily staring at the broken chains in his hands.
Fury and wrath broke out in the squad and immediately demanded the head of this damned traitor. However, GK, never one to lose her head, claimed that he must have had a good reason to set the Burning Star free. But when the boy was interrogated, he said with tears in his eyes, "he looked so sad. he told me he missed his family. he said he wanted his mama."
The knights were so fully of rage that they held down the boy and demanded GK behead him this instant. Although she vehemently refused, her close friend and right hand man, Angus, suggested that her blade be used as to discern whether the boy's action was just or vile. GK reluctantly agreed and unsheathed her blade. The boy cried and pleaded, but GK having full confidence in her blade, soothed the child and claimed, "You are a good child. You are one of virtue. This blade would harm no one like you."
With the boy calm, she raised her blade,
and rushed it down,
clean through the boy's neck.
Silence.
Nothing but shrill silence.
Then a wail,
the clatter of sword,
and a loud, horrified shriek saturated in despair.
GK learned all that she knew from the Star of Justice who granted her unrivaled and unimaginable abilities. Academically speaking, she was originally a child in a town who knew reading, writing, and don't touch the stove when it was hot. Socially speaking, she's quack out of luck. She lost all her charisma and social skill after the incident (which is elaborated in her backstory which is was made her become a hermit and live with animals for like ten years.) so yeah
She opts to not have her name spoken for the sake of preserving her reputation of an honorary knight of justice. She feels a name would personify her too much...
