Raf stared at the phone, a look of disgust on his face. He started to kick his legs in annoyances. “Ohh, the stupid guy who didn’t even help me, got it! I saved myself from him, not you. Anyway, I don’t dabble in that.” Then Raf read I already told everyone you would. “Seriously?! What is wrong with you???”
“it's a joke chill. Just sleep with wolfie and you'll be fine.”
Raf gawked at the message before him. “Do it yourself 💜. I don’t understand why I need to be looped into this. If you want me to do something, come speak to me one on one” He slammed his phone down on the table, staring at Eyros with the thought in mind. He shook his head, clearing his head.
Eyros jolted at raf slamming his phone down “ everything okay?” he asked softy and walked over to the werewolf
Raf blinked, bringing himself out of his hazy thinking. “Yeah— that Leo guy somehow found my number and is now bothering me. It should be fine, nothing to worry about.” Glancing at the phone, he glanced back up at Eyros and gave the hound a hug. “He’s stupid.”
Eyros chuckled, nestling into the hug “ he really is.” he said and gave a soft smile
Raf coughed as he took in the hellhounds scent. It’s was interesting to say the least. “I have another question. When do the next classes start?” He laid his head on the boy’s shoulder. “And why are you so nice to me?”
“ it starts in an hour, and because you haven't given me a reason not to,” he said, hearing the other cough made him regret not smothering himself in cologne to not smell like hell. Literally.
"An hour? What could one do in an hour. That's 60 minutes of nothing!" Raf whined, pulling himself out of the hug. He grabbed his phone and turned to Eyros. "Are there any— 'hunting grounds' around, perhaps? I'm getting restless. And it would be nice to munch on a snack." He looked over at the bowl of tater tots. "No offense to your— tater tot stuff."
“ non taken, come on,” he said and smirked playfully. Eyros walked out his door, letting raf follow behind
Raf followed Eyros down the hall, admiring the beautiful architecture. He wondered where he was being led. After all, he's only known the guy for a short time. He could be murdered right here.
Eyros led him outside, his body shifting into the hell hound. The ground underneath his paws blackened and smoked, shriveling away. He hated it but it was who he was.
Eyros looked back at rafe and waited for him to do the same. While he only hoped rafe trusted him, he knew the wolf needed to eat something real, and so did he.
Raf shifted into his wolf form, his golden pelt over take with spots of dark brown (As I forgot he had blonde hair with dark patches). He shook himself, freeing his fur. He padded along side Eyros, his stomach growl from the hunger that showed on his body. He would be hella thin for months. Raf needed to gain some weight after being restricted from hunter for so long. His aunt was aware it was the only way he ate. Nothing else suited his fancy.
Eyros tucked his head under rafs for a second before taking off at a run. He could feel the air ignite his fame as he ran. Like gas to a match, it got smaller before sparking into a roaring blue fire.
Raf chirped in happiness, his tail wagging quickly. He broke into a run, running ahead of Eyros, but wasn’t sure were to go. He hadn’t been around the bend yet. There hasn’t been a chance for his to scout out the grounds. Raf let out a small whine, feeling overwhelmed with the new smells.
Eyros came up behind Raphael and nuzzled him, clearing the wolf's head and senses with his ashy smell.
Eyros took lead and showed him the path
Raf smiled the a wolf could do when feeling Eyros cold nose. Such a strange occurrence, a cold nose but hot everything else. And Raf thought it both literally and figuratively. What? Can a werewolf not display when they though someone looked cute? Raf sneezed from Eyros’ scent. Ash made him sneeze like crazy, but he followed the smoky pup regardless, trying to familiarize himself with his surroundings.
Eyros took his slow, haunting down when deer strode by in a clearing. He was agile and dead quiet. His lean body becomes taught with anticipation of the kill
Raf learned his ears, hearing the delicate footsteps of a rabbit. He carefully trotted across the way, entering the forest. The rabbit was spotted! Raf crouched, gathering his hunches like a spring, ready to leap. He sprung, killing the rabbit in a quick bite. He was happy to have a rabbit, but when he looked up, Raf saw some shadowy looking force. He tucked his tail and bolted out of the forest, stopping in the clearing. He looked around, keeping his ears perked as he tore into the rabbit.
Eyros came back with a deer, trotting as if he own the world, and dropped it in front of Raphael. He nudged it toward the wolf and laid down.
Raf tore the rabbit apart, gulping it down in a few bites. Rabbit blood stained his paws and mouth. Licking his chops, he tilted his head, looking at the deer. A whole deer for himself. No. He laid down near the head of the dear, glaring at Eyros. Could he stomach deer? He didn’t care what hellhounds ate, he still glared at Eyros until he took a bite of deer.
Eyros rolled his eyes before taking a bite and laying his head back down.
God he couldn't stomach eating nearly every day but he did it to be normal. Eating meat alone filled the hound in him but it was enough for today, plus he wanted to fill the werewolf first. He was treating Raphael as if he was a mate, letting them take the prey and protecting them.
Speaking of which, eyros laid around raf as he ate, a silent way of protection
Raf chirped happily seeing Eryos take at least a bite. He ripped into the neck of the deer, chunks of deer meat falling to his paws. When Raf was finished, he’d eaten half the deer, covered in blood, and licking his paws. The werewolf finally fulfilled the starvation in his pit of a stomach. Something he hadn’t been able to fill very well in years. How did he manage to make it out alive. No idea? He was a surviver and a messy eater. Raf booped Eyros on the neck with his blood-soaked nose.
Eyros looked up at raf and gave a sight growl, though it wasn't with bad intention. He sat up and started to groom raf again.
Once the werewolf was clean eyros lead him back to the school. He shifted back and sighed “ class starts in five “
Raf flinched at the growl, not used to anything other than anger. Other werewolves would growl and yell at him for not reason. He still whined when Eyros started to groom him, fur sticking up like baby Simba’s. Raf shook himself off and shifted back. “Already? That was quick.” He mumbled, his hands still a little red. He stood up, following Eyros back into the school and inevitably, their class.
