He let out a heavy sigh, his breath smelling of mint.
"All im going to tell younrigjt now, is you are indeed the prophet. I will explain everything else once you get some rest." The angel nodded.
"You are extremely important. So please be safe on your journey home"
His voice was still.monotone and serious, with only the mission in mind. He hadnt yet developed a relationship or a bond with the human, so the only thing he cared about (for now) was the mission
"Alright…I'll do my best to stay safe," He replied quietly, processing the fact that he was this 'prophet'. Alex had no idea what it meant still, or why Albellona and Gabriel had been fighting over him, but he didn't really want to think about that right now. All he wanted to do was to go home, make sure he took something to help him sleep, and forget about this for now. He had more important things to do after all. That was the only reason he got up slowly, still shaking a fair amount. He made it to the driver's side of the car, slipped in, and sat down with a sigh of something close to relief.
(Im gonna wait for @CWPoofToxicRush to reply before i do ♡)
(Yeah no problem that makes sense)
Albellona stood at the bottom of the cliff, being unable to fly due to not being a born demon, watching as he got in the car and she resigned herself to another night in the pit. The prophet…. I thought that was just a fairy tail….
((Sorry, I'm still half asleep and generally out of it today))
(Thats totally fine!)
(So should we do a time skip? I’m thinking maybe theres an event that Alex maybe has to go to or something and he finds them there in like a disguise as humans or something? Idk my brains fried rn)
(Want me to start? Lol I'm not sure what the event could be but I can start)
(Uhm if you want to you can. But we can also brainstorm so its not so difficult thinking of what to type idk)
(That would be very helpful)
(Okay! :))) i know I’d love that every now and then when I’m trying to come up with a starter lol)
(So, got any ideas? When i was typing up the post I immediately thought of some sort big people event but honestly it could be something as small as a date lol. Idk though)
(Yeah, I was thinking something fancy/lots of people but really whatever works :) )
(Okay, so what like social status is Alex? Like is he middle class or higher? And would he be the type to go to like a fancy party thingy?)
(Well his parents are probably somewhere in the upper-class portion of things, and he wouldn't willingly go to a party…but if his parents made him go, he would be there)
(Okay that works! If you want me to i can post a starter. But you can also post one. I’m in no rush!)
(I can in the morning if you'd like, otherwise I wouldn't mind if you did)
(Okay ill do it lol)
Gabriel stepped through the crowd of humans, a white suit on as usual and his wings hidden to the human eye except for Alex.
No, he couldn’t make them disappear, so he looked slightly funny trying to dodge the other life forms so they didnt touch his wings. If felt like a violation for one to touch his wings and he thought it stupid he couldn’t make them disappear.
So pressed to his back, he maneuvered his way through the crowd. The dim light shining down on them as rich people mingled within one another as they sipped on their wine and champagne. Red lipstick marks on their glasses and fake smiles to go around.
Gabriel, to say the least was disturbed. Never liking humans too much, and not seeing why God loved them oh so much. But with no complaint, he followed the orders given to him by the ones above.
(Oh shit…I thought my response had gone through…I'm really sorry)
Alex didn't want to leave his room in the week following the accident…let alone go to a formal get-together that his parents insisted he go to. He hadn't spoken a word of what had happened to him, and as he wandered around the ballroom, he wondered if it would've been able to enough to convince them that he could stay home.
He sipped at the drink he had snagged from a nearby waiter, well aware that he was still underage. It was the only thing keeping him from bolting out of the packed room though, and as a plus, it kept his thoughts from Gabriel and Albellona. It did not, however, keep him from frowning whenever someone got too close to him. Soon he found himself wandering along the edge of the crowds just to avoid the sharp heels and crisp suits crowded together.
It's not that he didn't look nice enough to blend in, he definitely got that part down. A full black suit, with a matching undershirt and tie was enough to make him blend in, it was just his overall feeling about crowds and new people that made him stick to the edges of the event. At least walking around out here meant he was more likely to speak to people who shared the same annoyance for small talk as he did.
Albellona smiled as she talked to the older (well, physically, at least. She was probably actually around his age) man in front of her, trying to act like the heels weren't killing her. She hated being sent to try and get deals at these sort of things. It was too stuffy. Everything from the setting to the clothes she had to wear made her feel claustrophobic and trapped. The men were too pervy and gave the literal demon the creeps. The music gave her a headache. And everyone-everyone was so damn fake. She shook her head slightly when he looked away. She had to get her job done. She didn't want another week in the pit. She smiled as she declined his offer to dance, "I have two left feet, honestly, I'll stab you through the toes with my heels!", making a quick escape to get some semblance of fresh air.
((Hey, I kinda thought of a backstory for her, if anyone is interested?))
(Yes pleaseeee I love backstories)
((Okay, so, Albellona was born human. She was a musician-guitarist-in the late 70s. She sold her soul for skill-she really should have sold it for fame. When her time came, all she had to her name was a few garage bands that seemed cursed to fall apart after a few gigs, and her name was only known in small scenes. Skilled, but forgotten by time. And, well, since she was dead now, and had no soul to go anywhere-you know what she became. She's been at it for decades, but she was a human turned-she's bottom of the totem pole. For her, its a soulless job that keeps her out of the pits for some time))
(Oooh i love it!! Gabriel’s just….an angel from the beginning of time lol. As all angels are)
Gabriel spotted the demon across the room, though smelled her a mile away. He knew she would come here of course, but damn was it annoying.
Redirecting his route to the sidelines of the party, he was interrupted by a cougar.
“Did it hurt?” She asked in a low, scratchy voice.
Looking down to the human, or what wasnt plastic, he questioned her. “Did what hurt?”
“Oh silly, when you fell from heaven of course” her wrinkly, ring infested finger ran smoothly down his chest before he backed away.
“I didnt fall from heaven. I flew down here” he says confused. How’d she know he was an angel? And second, did he look like someone who would commit such an act? Something so horrible to be thrown out of heaven and fall to the earth with singed wings?
He was offended to say the least.
The lady only laughed, with was more of a constipated cackle if you would ask Gabriel. The smell of smoke burned his lungs as she got closer to him.
Though he pushed her aside with an aggravated sigh and finally was able to push his way through the crowd and meet with Alex.
“Fake id I’m guessing?” He sighed, standing in front of Alex “no way for the prophet of the Lord to be acting, but we’ll fix that in due time” he mumbled to himself.
“Are you enjoying this place? The humans here are….well extremely rude to say the least” he grumbled
