So I need help developing my characters more naturally, and I figured having people ask them questions would be a good exercise. So go ahead and ask them anything.

Discord: Guardian of Chaos
Myles: Guardian of Mirrors
Suntari: Guardian of the Sun
Merc: Guardian of Mercury
Vanya: Guardian of Venus
Earth: Guardian of Earth
Martha: Guardian of Mars
Julian: Guardian of Jupiter
Sadie: Guardian of Saturn

Navy: Guardian of Neptune
Peyton: Guardian of Pluto
Eres: Guardian of Eris

Discord: Outcasted by their siblings and stripped of political power and wants revenge.
Myles: The poor boy has been trapped in a white room for 3 million years. He just wants to leave and experience the world.
Suntari: The self-proclaimed leader of the group. A bit stuck up and full of herself. She was the one who stripped Discord of their political power.
Merc: A dumbass jerk who likes to annoy people. Everybody strongly dislikes him.
Vanya: A fashionista who seems shallow and dumb, but she is incredibly intelligent and cunning.
Earth: A cinnamon roll that just wants everyone to get along. Loves the creatures that live on their planet. The most caring of the group.
Martha: Very argumentative and opinionated. Brash, in a loving way.
Julian: Laid-back comedian of the group, the friendliest of them all (rivaled by Earth)
Sadie: Serious, curious nature. Quiet. Likes shiny things.
Uran: The least intelligent of the peeps. Unintentionally funny, and (of course) fairly dirty minded.
Navy: Pessimistic, dark. Also quite argumentative, but usually doesn't care enough to finish an argument.
Peyton: Naïve, Bubbly, a bundle of joy. The baby.
Cerise: Hot-headed, whiny, easily annoyed. Likes to get their way.
Amea: Meek, kind. Seen as almost a pushover.
Mak: Gives zero fricks. Sarcastic. The smartest of the group.
Eres: Outspoken, athletic, naïve

This is a pretty general question, so anyone can answer really. What do you like to do for fun?

This is a pretty general question, so anyone can answer really. What do you like to do for fun?

Suntari: Fun? We don't have time for 'fun.' We're busy protecting the Universe from any outward and inner threats. Humans.. so dense.
Julius (I changed his name): C'mon sis, everyone has got to relax at some point; you're just too tense and paranoid. We haven't had a problem in centuries.
Suntari: I am not tense nor paranoid. I am simply just concerned for the well-being of this Universe, which was given to us by our mother. I will do whatever it takes to protect it.
Julius: Yeah, sure sis. Anyways, I like to visit my children on their respective moons. I love seein' them grow up.
Sadie: Oh, I love taking Peyton to my planet's rings and just sitting on them. It's a gorgeous view.
Peyton: I like that too, but I also like playing with Earth! They always have the best ideas!
Earth: Aw, thank you Peyton, I enjoy it too. Also, Suntari, I presume I did not hear you call humans…dense?
Suntari: I said nothing about those space-wasting pests.
Earth: Don't lie. That isn't very kind, Sunny. Please don't talk about them like that. They're quite extraordinary.
Suntari: Yeah, whatever.

Wow, this took me a while, but here we go.

Discord: Now now darling, let's not get hasty. These kinds of things take patience, I am not fully ready yet. However, what I am planning, isn't pretty, not at all… but if it all goes right, I may be able to save someone who has been trapped for a very long time…
Yes, I have met many others. I live in the Chaos Realm, which is an unsanctioned hideout for all the Malfaketes. Don't know what those are? Well, they're like me. Branded as bad and evil, for something that was out of our control. Although, some of us are truly evil, but ah well. We all deserve a place to stay. We like to hide there, and I've made some… acquaintances. I daresay they'll be very useful…

Myles: Yes, I can see, talk, and hear. I have to be able to so I can watch over the Mirrors. I've only ever heard the sound of my own voice, though.
Mad? Why would I get mad? It's my duty, even if it's incredibly lonely, everyone is depending on me to keep the humans ignorant. But if you're asking me these questions, I guess I failed…

Suntari: Dislike Discord? No no, you have it all wrong. I HATE them. Why? chuckles well, how would you feel watching your sister slowly die, and have another sibling fully capable of saving her, and not. Discord watched Theia die, and did NOTHING! I saw right through that deadpan face, I could tell they enjoyed it. Someone who would watch a person, no, a FAMILY member, die and do nothing doesn't deserve any political power. Everyone else agrees with me.
Trapping who? Myles? who's that..? Oh, I remember now… That is a RIDICULOUS accusation! He isn't trapped! He just can't ever leave the Mirror Realm! No, I didn't put him there, and I can't get him out either. He's been there since my mother's rule! It is his duty, and we have had absolutely no complications on his side, nor ours. He is simply doing his job, and the fact you thought I forced him is utterly idiotic. Dense humans..
Earth: Suntari! Be nice to the human! You're being rude.
Suntari: I'm being rude? This human is asking my questions about my extremely personal life! But yeah, ok.

Merc: What? Nah, I don't have anything to say, except that I put a Space Parasite on Julie's head the other day, and she STILL hasn't noticed! Heh, how funny… … …

Vanya: I believe we get along quite well when we must, but do I like her? No, not really, none of us do. Her ego is gigantic, and that's coming from me.
I just want to protect the Universe and my planet, Venus, from the black hole, and make my mother proud. Of course, I also want to look FABULOUS while doing it!

Earth: No, of course not! I'm happy with my life! I love my planets, and everything that lives on it! It's an honor protecting them! Luna is getting more powerful by the day, I'm so proud of her! She's my daughter, the Guardian Lux of the Moon! I love her so much! I just wish the others saw humans and animals the way I do, they're quite amazing.

Martha: My favorite sibling is Earth. We're the only set of twins out of all seventeen of us, so we're naturally close. I also admire their compassion for the humans, I have no idea how they do it.

Julie: (she/he/they): I don't read a lot of books, since most of 'em are written by humans. I did read one book series though, that Earth gave me. The Heroes of Olympus, I think it was called. Turns out the big ruler is called Jupiter by the Romans, so naturally, I thought that was awesome. I guess whoever wrote those books? Also, if you talk to Merc, please do tell him I'm keeping his pet Space Parasite as MY pet now.

Sadie: I do not really understand exactly what you are talking about, but the humans associate foxes, snakes, owls, and mice with my planet, Saturn. I have never seen these animals in person, however.
Earth: They're really pretty!
Sadie: Aw, that is good to know.

Uran: The worst thing? But, she's never made me do anything bad? We are Luxes, we don't do anything evil. I mean yeah, we banished Discord, they deserved it anyways, I think… and yeah, we erase some Numine Divus' memories and cut off their wings and banish them to the human world…but….but ONLY if they're evil! We're the good guys here! Sheesh!

Navy: Everyone has a different meaning of life, some worse than others..

Peyton: What do you mean? I don't want to be the baby, they all just treat me like I am, no matter what I do. So I just act that way to make them happy. That's what I want, I want them to be happy! But I also want popcorn…

Cerise: Spaghetti O's are the best, and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. Ugh, I wouldn't be able to do anything to drastic, with being a Guardian of the Universe and all. I'd just yell a bit and INTIMIDATE them into giving me all their Spaghetti O's.

Amea: Yes, I do actually. I have two children, and they are the Guardians of my planets' moons. Earth, Martha, Julie, Sadie, Uran, Navy, Peyton, and Eres also have children.
My biggest flaw? I have a few of them, but my biggest one, at least as Suntari says, is I'm too quiet and too kind. She said it'll be my downfall one day, but I just do not believe so.
Discord watched Theia die, that's just as bad as killing her. I really loved Discord, and I still do, so I guess Suntari is right perhaps..

Mak: I am neither. Those are human things. Besides, they're both wrong and inaccurate on many levels. Science is definitely accurate to some degrees, and humans have figured out a few true things, just not the reason why. Hopefully they never do.
I do not have a favorite author. As I said earlier, that is human stuff. We are not humans. Our society is incredibly different, we don't have time to read or write books. We only stole one set of books from the humans because Merc was throwing a fit about being bored. We then all took turns reading it. It was…fine.
Everyone gets along with Earth. But Martha, Peyton, Julie, and I get along with them the best.

Eres: Hell yeah, I'm sure our mother is proud! We took over everything after she…was killed, and I think we've done a pretty good job! We don't have a dad, though. We were created by our mother with magic.
A…what? What's a crush?
Mak: It's what humans call having intense romantic feelings for another human that may or may not be returned.
Eres: Oh. But…we don't do that…?
Mak: No we do not. Some Numine Divus feel romantic attraction, but most do not. It isn't nessacary for our survival.
Eres: Yeah, I don't feel any romantic attraction. Besides, I only hang out with my siblings… Ewww. No.
Mak: We aren't really sibling Eres, we don't have DNA.
Eres: STILL. Gross.

Wow ! I love it. You put effort in it. We can feel it. But if their society is so different from humans, how do they live ? I mean where ? Do they have houses ? Are they tangible ? If yes, do they have physic caracteritic (scars, tattoos, bald or hairy) ? Do they have magic ? What kind and what are the rules ?
If they're inspired from our solar system, it means there's other entities ? Like black holes or asteroid, super nova, etc ?
How do they reproduce ? (Sorry Eres, I know it's an intimate question but well, I'm curious. I'm pretty sure Mak would understand)

They are the (accidental) children of Discord and Myles.

Aklas: The Guardian of Blindness. Blind, quiet, smart, raised alone with Visie. Lives in the post-apocalyptic universe after Myles dies.

Visie: The Guardian of Vision. Bold, curious, brash, courageous. Lives in the same conditions as Aklas. Older sibling of Aklas.

Peyton: Guys, this human seems nice, let's tell them what they wanna know!
Amea: But isn't that against the rules-
Peyton: I'll answer the first one! We live just like you humans silly! We have jobs and personal lives and relationships…..but I think ours are more important than yours, at least universally.
Eres: Can I answer this one?
Peyton: Yep!
Eres: We live in the Realm of the Numine Divus, which is divided into smaller realms and sections. For example, we live in the Solare Realm. It exists on top of the human world as well at space, but it's invisible to all mortal creatures…assuming Myles is doing his job….
Amea: Do not worry brother, we would know if he was not, may I answer the next one?
Eres: Sure.
Amea: We do not live in houses, we just live near our respective elements we guard and protect. If we go too far, it will be left unprotected and our magic will weaken. As long as we can see our object, we are usually okay.
Peyton: Hey…Earth? What does…tangible mean?
Earth: Oh, um. It means perceptive by touch I believe. And yes, to other Numine Divus, we are. However, we are invisible to humans and they cannot touch us.
Merc: Oooh, that makes sense. I guess you would know, with how much you hang out with Mak. That boy is a walking dictionary.
Earth: Merc! For the last time, Mak, Navy, and I are not males nor females, please respect that!
Merc: Oh shuddup ya wus. I'll call you whatever I please. Anyways, I think I'll answer this next one! Yeah we all have unique looks and crap. I look like a tan piece of stone, and Earth looks like….I dunno…..Earth?
Uran: We also have cool tattoos! On our shoulders!
Merc: Yeah I guess. They're kinda lame though.
Sadie: Be nice Merc.
Merc: Oh be quiet would ya? You're not the boss of me.
Sadie: Anyways, yes, we all have magic. It is stored in our energy and our weapons. Every Numine Divus has magic. It is unique to the object they protect. For example, my magic is stored in my crystalized ninja stars, and they freeze anything they touch. The rules….
Uran: Oh I got this! You can't use your magic to harm any other Numine Divus or living creature. You also can't use it to damage another Numine Divus' object! Corrupted Numine Divus' must be captured and healed, before we cut off their wings and wipe their minds in front of everyone in their realm, then cast them down to live with the humans! Anyone who disobeys will suffer the same fate as corrupted Numine Divus', minus the healing part! Did I do a good job!
Sadie: You did a great job Uran!
Cerise: MY turn. We aren't inspired by anything. We ARE. We protect and keep the Universe working, so really you humans have us to thank. Yes, they all exist and have their own Numine Divus' too, but their just regular, they aren't rulers or anything. As for the black holes….we don't talk about that 'Mother Killer.' Don't ask, because we won't tell.

(the last question is extremely detailed so I'll do that one separately.

And you look like your planet in appearance but in humanoide form ? And you have wings ???? Is your sight extended? like hawks have ? (I guess you don't know hawks are but ask Earth). It could be useful if you're flying and need to keep an eye on your object. How do you do if there's a family reunion ? You must leave far away from each other too.
Is the room Myles in is his object ? What if he get out but with a pocket mirror ? And how did Discord to keep an eye on chaos ? It's not a tangible (^^") thing, right ?
Why do have tattos ? What do they look like ? Do they have a purpose ?
What job do each of you have ?

Eres: …Yeah, I'm going back to Eris. See ya later!
Mak: He seems to have forgotten that he has had children before. I guess I'll explain then, I've got nothing better to do.

Mak: There is only one way to reproduce, but it is broken down into two and a half sections. We reproduce asexually, as you humans call it, but it is much different from your interpretation. To understand better, I will start with the easiest method to understand.
In order to create life, you have to take a part of your magical energy and morph it into a life form. Stelara, our 'mother,' created us that way. She split her magical energy into sixteen other parts, and we were born. She made us by herself, using only her magic. That is the first method. We don't really have a name for it like you humans do, though. We don't worry about that kind of stuff.

Mak (cont'd): The second method is by two Numine Divus' combining both of their magical energy together. This is sometimes done out of love, because some of us can feel romantic attraction to others. Most of the time, it is done out of necessity. What necessity, you might ask? Well, while our species is usually immortal as long as our object still exists, sometimes something might happen to a Numine Divus and they will have to be……replaced. In that situation, two other Numine Divus' volunteer to try to make a new one as close to the original as possible.

Mak (cont'd): Also, if a new species of plant or animal evolves, we would have to create a Guardian for them. For example, let's say that dolphins grew legs somehow and started walking on land, but half of them didn't and stayed in the water. Usually, the Numine Divus in charge of protecting dolphins could protect the land ones as well, but if they get too distanced from the original dolphins and create a new species, a new Numine Divus will have to be created.
In this case, the rulers of the Ocean Realm and the Land Realm would have to combine their magic to create a new Guardian, because the dolphin was shifting from water to land. Why didn't the Dolphin Numine Divus just do it by themself you ask? Because they only live in water, they wouldn't be able to create a land-dwelling child, and because their child would be weaker than if the rulers did it. Every Numine Divus can reproduce, but usually we have the Rulers do it because of their raw power. But weaker Numine Divus' can have children out of love, that is allowed I guess.

Mak (cont'd): This also means that 'same-sex' couples and Numine Divus' with no sex can have children naturally. I don't understand the humans loathing of people like that, it's not like it isn't natural. Although, humans can be pretty idiotic. And I've existed since before gender even was a thing, so I can tell you firsthand, it doesn't matter, do whatever the hell you want.

Mak (cont'd): Anyways, now we have the final way. I said earlier that there were two and a half methods, not three. That's because this one is basically the same as the second method, but has a few small differences. This last 'method' is two Numine Divus' combining their magic….on accident. It happens while two Numine Divus' are fighting, and their magic just kinda….ya know.
Or when two Numine Divus' objects collide. It's only happened twice, since we outlawed fighting, but we still count it. It happened during the battle between our mother, and the Black Hole Numine Divus. He wanted to consume the world and its power, but Stelara fought him to protect it. While they were fighting, their magic combined and they created the world's first mirror, and along with it, our 'half-sibling,' Myles. Which I guess means we are related to a mirror, but I wouldn't think about it too much. Those damn mirrors are more problems then they're worth, but whatever. Our mom ended up defeating him, but died in the process. We don't like talking about it that much.

Mak (cont'd): The second time…was…worse. Basically, Theia, our other sister, and Earth's planets collided. Planet Theia was destroyed, and with it, Theia herself. Earth was extremely weakened, but they survived. But when the planets collided, they created the moon, and Luna. Earth's daughter is also Theia's. What happened after that is history. Discord was blamed, we lost Theia, Suntari lost her shit. So this accidental method is always dramatic. So yeah, that's how we reproduce. I'm lucky enough to never have had children, I hope I never do.

Mak (cont'd): It is important to mention that we don't have any DNA, as I have already said before. We are not related, we just consider ourselves siblings. So if two of us accidentally have a child, or are required to, it isn't anything gross, we aren't related. We were created by the same person, yes, but not related. It's like how some humans believe that they are all children of this God dude, but they aren't related. Same thing. Deal with it.

Discord: Yes darling, a corrupted Numine Divus or one who breaks the law (they're usually one in the same however), is stripped of their power, memories, wings, and is cast down to live a mortal life amongst the humans. I'm sure you've heard of some famous 'humans' who didn't start out as humans. Albert Einstein for example. That boy was too smart for his own good. It's quite gruesome actually. Earth, Mak, Peyton, and I were the only ones to stand up for him. You think they'd learn to listen to Mak by now…
No, I am not a human. I'm not corrupted either. No matter how much Suntari hates me, she can't do anything to me, because I have not broken the law. I just lost all of my political powers because of something I couldn't do.

Peyton: Yep! We have an upper torso, arms, hair, eyes, and wings! Our lower half is mist, we have no legs. Everyone looks very cool!
Julius: If you count looking like an ant with a suntan as cool, then yeah.
Merc: Oh shut up! I'm gonna kill you!
Julius: Yeah, okay. You're never getting Larry back then. (larry is the space parasite from the first batch of questions)
Merc: You took LARRY?
Julius: No, you gave him to me, I decided to keep him. hehe.
Merc: Stelara's sake, get back here you little sh-
Peyton: It's nice to see them getting along for once!

Earth: Oh! I know what you mean! Yeah, we can see the entire Universe from anywhere in the world. It's probably better vision than Hawks have, I'm not sure. I don't know too much about them.
Eres: You think a…bird might be able to see more of the Universe than…us?
Earth: Well…
Eres: You're an idiot, Earth.

Amea: We actually do live quite far from each other, but the ones who live closest to each other do hang out sometimes. We have a meeting twice a year on the Summer Solstice and the Winter Solstice, in order to determine what has changed and what needs to be done. We all just happen to be here because we had to have an emergency meeting about- nevermind. I shouldn't tell you, it doesn't concern you.

Myles: The room isn't my object. It's what is in the room that is. I watch over Mirrors. All the mirrors in the world flow into the Grand Mirror in the Mirror Realm. I watch over the Grand Mirror, because it gives me access to all the mirrors at once.
Hmm. I suppose that might work. But even if it did, I wouldn't be able to leave this place. Not on my own anyways.

Discord: Dear, I do not know why you are this nosy, but I respect your curiosity. giggle Chaos is not tangible, but it exists everywhere. I can go anywhere in the Universe and still be able to draw my power from Chaos. For others, who have an actual tangible object, they cannot leave their object. My chaos, as well as Aria's air (except for in space), exists everywhere. For me, I store extra chaos in the necklace I wear. For Aria, she stores extra air in her crown. Crowns and necklaces are mobile, wherever we go, they go.

Vanya: Every Numine Divus has one. We were born with these tattoos, so I guess they are more like birthmarks. They represent our objects. A tree Guardian would have a tree branded into their skin somewhere on their body. They are incredibly cute and fashionable! The true reason for the birthmarks is unknown, but we now use them as a classification system.

Martha: Everyone has two jobs. Protect your assigned object, and keep the humans from finding out about you. Some of us have more jobs, like us. We also have to enforce laws and protect the whole universe. I wish we got more time to explore. Earth has told me about all the cool stuff that goes on in their planet. I wanna see it all someday.

Merc: What do you mean, 'how do you know what a dictionary is?' Everyone knows what a dictionary is, even dumb babies. …Are you calling me a DUMB BABY?!
Cersei: Shut the fuck up!
Merc: Make me bitch!
Cerise: Ugh, you're so annoying.
Merc: Why thank you.
Cerise: -_-

Navy: We can learn the human's languages easily. They aren't as advanced or beautiful as you believe. Just like the world. We speak Aieou, the native language of Numine Divus'. Here is my name in Aieou: =~>|

Visie: Aklas, we shouldn't let those pushovers be the only ones who answer questions. We should answer some too!
